Two Water Winger rooftop sprinkler kits with 50-foot hoses, ground-deployment rigging, mesh storage bags and adjustable nozzles for broader wildfire structure protection coverage.

Description

Two-roof-sprinkler structure protection package

Broader Roof Coverage from One Prepared Kit

Two Water Wingers help create overlapping wet zones across larger or more complex structures. Each lightweight, commercial-quality sprinkler is deployed from the ground—without placing a ladder against the building.

Measure Once. Be Ready to Deploy.

The two standard rigging line sets are designed for buildings measuring up to 100 feet up and over—suitable for most one- and two-storey structures. Longer line sets are available for larger or more complicated roofs.

Water Supply for Two Water Wingers

Plan for approximately 14–18 US GPM at 50 PSI to operate both sprinklers at maximum coverage. Actual performance depends on available flow, pressure, elevation, hose length, fittings and nozzle selection.

A documented installation shown below operated two Water Wingers from one well-fed yard tap supplying approximately 60 PSI and 18 GPM.

About 30 minutes of operation can soak a large area. The system does not necessarily need to run continuously; operating time depends on heat, wind, evaporation and proximity to the fire.

Use a High-Flow Splitter

Running two Water Wingers from one yard hydrant or outdoor tap requires a Y splitter. Many brass and plastic garden-centre splitters have small internal passages that restrict flow. For best performance, use a high-flow Y with large-bore valves. You may build your own or select one of our pre-built high-flow options.

One-valve high-flow Y

Controls both Water Wingers together with one main valve.

Two-valve high-flow Y

The most versatile option. Independent valves help balance flow when hose lengths or elevations differ, or when one sprinkler needs more or less throw than the other.

Longer supply run? If the yard hydrant or tap is some distance from the structure, feed the high-flow Y with a 3/4-inch hose to reduce restriction. A closed loop around the structure can further improve system balance.

Fine-Tune Performance to Your Water Supply

Use the included mister plugs

Plugging the mister/spreader ports reduces water demand and helps maintain longer throw when available flow or pressure is limited.

Choose alternate nozzles

Smaller or larger nozzles can adjust water consumption and throw so each Water Winger is better matched to the source.

Improve an outdoor supply

If a normal yard tap is too restrictive, a plumber can often install a dedicated, unrestricted outdoor irrigation or fire-protection connection.

Review well-system pressure

Many well systems use adjustable pressure controls. A qualified plumber or pump professional can determine whether the pressure can safely be increased for structure protection.

Built and Supported in Wildfire-Prone British Columbia

Durable, rust-resistant stainless-steel and aluminum construction.
Designed to give homeowners and firefighters a safer way to deploy rooftop sprinklers.
We stand behind what we manufacture.

A system that is already laid out before evacuation is easier for structure-protection crews to inspect and, when appropriate, keep operating from the property supply or their own high-pressure pump.
