How it Began
The Water Winger was born from a moment of danger and frustration. As ash drifted in from a nearby wildfire, Bryan Coffey, the inventor of the Water Winger No-Ladder Rooftop Wildfire Sprinkler, found himself repeatedly climbing a long ladder up to a steep, two-story tin roof to try to build mounts for his garden sprinklers on the peak.
As the sky turned a dark orange grey, alone, high up on that hot, steep, slippery, tin roof, it became very clear that there has to be a better, safer, faster way to get powerful wildfire sprinklers onto roof peaks to give ourselves a better chance to protect more of our homes from these ever increasing wildfires. And that is exactly what we did : )
From Problem to Innovation
With input from wildfire-experienced homeowners, engineers, and firefighters, we developed and refined many prototypes until the design finally met our required standards of safety, efficiency and performance. Today, the popular Water Winger is helping homeowners and professionals to safely protect more homes and properties each wildfire season.
Longer Wildfire Seasons
As wildfire seasons and situations evolve, we continue to innovate at our BC based Wildfire Equipment facilities. We continue to expand our production capacity and broaden our product line. Our online store makes it easy to get the best structure protection for your situation. We carry fire hose, specialized large-bore fittings, valves, splitters, and various types of top quality sprinklers necessary to build the best structure protection systems possible for our customers.
